The Series F3 Camera Stand is a permanently mounted PTZ video camera stand. The stand height is in a 7’ and 8’ version as well as custom heights. A universal flat plate mount accepts a majority of PTZ cameras on the market including large motorized heads. A dual PTZ Plate which puts two cameras side by side is available as an option at additional cost. The plate is mounted at the top of the pole with 4.5” steel stand offs, which provides access to the camera mount screws. Easy cable routing allows for cables to enter the top of the stand under the bowl and exit out the bottom 1½” access hole.
Constructed of a 15.5” x 15.5” triangular flat steel base, a 3” upright steel tube and 2 1½” x ½” angular support braces. The base plate has 9 mounting holes used for securely mounting the stand to a solid level surface.
How does the stand mount?
The stand must be bolted down to a solid floor. They cannot be used freestanding.
Are they adjustable?
The model F3 is not height adjustable, two standard heights are available as well as custom built heights.
Are there options and accessories?
There are two heights of the stand available. A F3.7 which will place a standard PTZ camera lens at about a 7’ level and a F3.8 which will place a standard PTZ lens at about an 8’ level. The stand is built 6” less than the 7’ or 8’ height assuming a PTZ camera lens is about 6” up from the base of the camera. Additional heights may be special ordered. A dual PTZ camera mounting plate is available.
What is the construction of the stands?
The stands are constructed of steel. They are precision assembled and have a factory powder coated paint finish.
Do I need an installer to set them up?
The stand itself bolts together with hex head bolts. The base installation is dependent on the type of floor the customer has. It may be necessary to drill concrete and use proper fasteners. The base must be securely fastened to a solid floor.
