Features

The Series A Adjustable Height Camera Stand is a permanently mounted video camera stand that allows easy adjustment of the camera height while maintaining that solidness that SAVY is known for.  A simple turn of the hand crank puts the camera in the perfect position.  There is no need to manually lift the camera or fumble with ugly locking screws.  The stand has a 22” lift range (+/- 11”).  A customer provided camera head is mounted to either a 100mm or 75mm universal bowl mount.  A PTZ Plate or Mitchell Mount is available as an option at additional cost.  The bowl is mounted at the top of the pole with 4.5” steel stand offs, which provides access to the camera mount’s tie down knob.  An optional PTZ plate can be attached in place of the bowl allowing for PTZ setups like Ross or Eagle.  (Note – due to the construction of the adjustable stand it is necessary to use short tie down screws)

Specifications

Constructed of a 13” x 21” flat steel base, a 4.5” upright steel tube and 1½” x ½” angular support braces.  The base plate has 12 mounting holes used for securely mounting the stand to a solid level surface.  The stand adjusts a total of 22” (+/- 11”).  A sloped floor option is also available for the Adjustable stand.

Sloped Floor Option

The SAVY Adjustable stand can now go where you didn’t think possible.  With the innovative design the stand can now be installed on sloped floors!  Attractive turnbuckle legs replace the normal legs and allow the pole to be moved up to plumb regardless of the amount or direction of the slop on the floor.  Even with this flexibility the solid vibration free design hallmarks of the SAVY stand are maintained.

FAQ

How does the stand adjust?
A simple turn of the crank handle adjusts the camera up or down.  The stand is engineered so that no lock down screws or manual lifting is required.  There is no limit on the camera weight.  The stand will not drift or move once set in position.  The stand will adjust 22” (+/- 11”)

How do I order the height stand I need?
The adjustable stands are measured and ordered from the center of the range of motion.  For example, an 84” adjustable stand will be able to vary from 73”-95”

How does the stand mount?
The stands are bolted directly to a safe, solid surface such as the floor or solid camera platform.

Do I need an installer to set them up?
The installation consists of simply bolting the stand to a solid flooring position.  All of the bolt positions must be used to ensure the stability of the stand. No technical skills beyond reading a level are required.

What is the construction of the stands?
The stands are constructed of steel.  They are precision assembled and have factory powder coated paint finish.

What about sloped floors?
A sloped floor option is available to accommodate sloped floors found in many auditorium designs.

Are there any options or accessories?
The overall height of the stand (+/- 11”) and mounting bowl are options to be selected at time of order.  An intercom belt pack/headphone clip, a cup holder, headphone only holder and preview monitor mount are available that attach to the stand.  Other mounting options are available.  A universal flat/PTZ plate, Mitchel mount as well as a dual PTZ plate.

What if I have other things I need to attach to the stand?
Contact SAVY with your needs.  There are many accessories that can be incorporated to the stand if needed.
