The new SAVY platforms feature laminated wood over a steel frame with steel legs. Your choice of wood trim frames the platform allowing you to match your room perfectly. Built to accept your carpet or optional black carpeting. Optional stairs and railings can be provided if needed. The platforms are a steel frame with steel legs and laminated wood deck. Sizes and heights are custom to the needs of the customer. Wood trim can be selected from Red Oak, Alder, Aspen, Poplar, Cherry, Hickory, Mahogany, Maple, & Walnut. Stain colors can be selected from any MinWax color choice. Painting is also an option. Optional stairs can be provided as well as railings. Leveling feet can allow for minor floor slopes while legs differing heights can be built if the slope is more severe.
What is the construction of the platforms?
The platforms are constructed of steel & wood. They are professionally assembled and have factory powder coated paint finish.
What about sloped floors?
Leveling feet will accommodate most minor floor slopes. Legs with differing heights can be built if the slope is more severe.
Why are there no sides to the platform?
Most acoustical and AV consultants requested us to not enclose the base. Enclosed bases often will resonate with bass frequencies that subwoofers put out.
What is the available size and height range?
SAVY platforms can be built to almost any size. We recommend keeping the height under 4’.
What are the wood trim and color options?

Can I provide my own carpet?
Yes in fact most of our platforms get covered with the customer’s carpet. This adds to the professional “meant to be there” appearance.
