After seeing a question on Facebook for a camera stand that had unique requirements, SAVY reached out and was able to connect with the customer and provide a solution to their problem. A small stand was needed to hold an existing tripod head but it needed to be small to fit a specific location. Concept drawings were made and approved by the customer. Features were added such as a hollow tube that is a cable pathway. The product was built and professionally powder coated within the customer’s budget requirements.
The sound system installation at Calvary Church included speakers built into the front steps of the stage that provide the front rows of seating a sense of sound coming from stage and not from the overhead speakers. The step riser was covered with a fabric with holes left for the speakers to fit into. A grill needed to be made that blended into the step riser as seamlessly as possible. SAVY was called to provide the solution. Custom metal grills were cut and covered with the fabric that was son the step riser. A mounting mechanism was installed that held the grills flush with the riser and still allow for removal. A second set of grills was also made that included a cable pass through cutout that allows for monitor speaker cables to appear from the step riser.
The orchestra pit in Calvary Church includes many floor boxes for the audio connections needed. Due to a miscommunication during construction, holes were cut in concrete floor panels for the floor boxes that turned out to be the same size as the floor box covers. This meant that there was no support for the floor box covers and boxes. SAVY provided a solution that matched the look of the covers and was strong enough to withstand the possible weight of a personal lift.
